Bethan Ash

 I have been looking at Bethan Ash's fibre art work, Bethan's work literally jumps at you with colour, form, texture and shape.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  I like this piece because it made up of nine pieces and it consists of squares and ovals with a colourful yet unique style to it.
in the future i would like to create my own piece which would be colourful full of emotion and abstract.

 

this piece is a beautiful yet meaningful piece of art work because its called cutting carbs which i believe symbolises that society has become so concerned with people gaining weight, that they dont realise some poeple are happier with being the way they are, or that some people have been made to believe that being fat or stocky is a bad thing which has led eating disorders.
